HOW TO MAKE MATHI FISH PULUSU :
Chepala Pulusu, A Traditional South Indian Andhra Style
Fish Curry Made Using Fish Pieces And Tamarind Extract. It Is A Very Popular
Fish Curry Commonly Called As Fish Pulusu In South Indian Telangana And Andhra
Regions.
INGREDIANTS :
1. Four
tablespoons of oil
2. Onion
paste
3. Green
chilies
4. Curry
leaves
5. Salt
6. Turmeric
7. Red chili
powder
8. Mathi
Fish
9. Raw tamarind juice
10. Coriander
METHOD:
Add 4 tablespoons of oil in the pan and heat it. After heating the oil, add the onion paste and fry it for a while. Add in 3 green chilies and a few curry leaves. Stir it well with the onion paste (to make onion paste take an onion a spoon of dhaniya, a spoon of jeera, ¾ spoon of gasagasalu and grind them) . Add a spoon of salt, ½ spoon of turmeric and a 2 spoons of red chili powder. Stir it well. Now add the fish and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add The raw tamarind juice, stir it well and let it cook for a while. For the finishing touch, garnish it with some coriander. The Mathi Fish Pulusu is now ready to eat!
