How To make
Chinta Chiguru Mutton Curry:
Chinta Chiguru mutton
curry, is a classic dish from Andra cuisine. The curry is made using mutton and
tender tamarind leaves. It is generally eaten with rice.
Ingredients:
1.
Mutton – ½ kg
2.
Onions – 2
3.
Green Chilies
– 2
4.
Chinta
Chiguru (tamarind leaves) – 1 cup (fry it with oil)
5.
Chili powder –
2 spoons ( select amount as per your taste)
6.
Turmeric – ¼th
spoon
7.
Garam Masala –
1 spoon
8.
Ginger Garlic
Paste – 1 spoon
9.
Iodized salt
10.
Coriander leaves
Method:
Place the mutton in a pan
and add a spoon of garlic paste, 1/4th spoon of turmeric and salt.
Mix Well and keep it aside. Now take a pot and add some oil, onions and green chilies.
Stir it for a while and add the mutton which we kept aside and mix well. Add chili
powder, garam masala and stir well. Pour some water, stir a little and let it
cook. Meanwhile, grind he tamarind leaves and add it in the cooked mutton. Let
it cook for a while and garnish it with coriander.
